What Are the Best Sunglasses for my Head Shape?

Whether you're into the minimalist look or always hoping to catch peoples eye, there's going to be a pair of sunglasses that fit your face best. This doesn't mean you shouldn't wear what you like, finding something that fits your taste will always look and feel better than trying to wear something you don't truly like.

This article is for those of you that want to find a pair of sunglasses that fits your personal style while complimenting your natural features.

For Heart-Shaped Faces

Those of you with triangular features want frames that pull the attention downwards. Frames that are flat on top and focus the features on the bottom half of the glasses will compliment your jawline.

Aviators and flat top sunglasses fit this description best. These frames are typically curved around the lenses and can lead to movement throughout your day. Nose Fender blends in with the highly stylized lower half and will help keep you discomfort free.

For Square-Shaped Faces

Hard lined sunglasses can create jagged looks on your face. To soften some features you'll want to go with oval or rectangular frames with round edges. You have the freedom to explore all kinds of designs with your frames. A symmetrical look with loud large shapes can fit some styles and will compliment your shape nicely.

You'll want to find frames in tortoise or other more subtle neutral colors. These will help frame your face subtly and do a great job of softening features. Large cat-eye frames are bold and do the best job of elongating your features and give the illusion of a more curved head shape

For Round-Shaped Faces

Opposite to those with heart-shaped faces, you'll want to look for sunglasses that bring attention upwards. The round shape of your face will frame your sunglasses nicely. Look for fun shapes that compliment your style. Frames with a brow bar can create striking features. Try to stay away from anything too large as that can detract from your natural shape.

For Oval-Shaped Faces

Oval shaped faces have a lot of freedom in what they can pull off. You get to rock essentially anything that fits your style. The only thing I recommend staying away from are perfect circle frames. These frames will clash with your natural features.

With that said wear anything from the above categories or try one of the more creative styles below.

For Diamond-Shaped Faces

Diamond shaped faces have the most freedom. You can wear any style of frame, from the tiniest circles to the most oversized Gucci monsters.

Remember to always find something stylish and comfortable, and for when you NEED those painful frames you can always use Nose Fender to keep you comfortable.
